Historic ranch and access road. Open seasonally. Inquire at Headquarters regarding access.
The entrance gate (here) for Sodhouse Ranch is located 2 miles west of Malheur NWR Headquarters on the south side of Narrows-Princeton Road (Sodhouse Lane). Enter at the gate and drive one mile to a small parking area.

Here you will find Sodhouse Ranch and a few short trails around the compound. Check the taller trees on the east side for passerines. Several rare vagrants have been found here over the years. Seasonal wetlands along the entrance road are good for wetland species.
